On this page, I show you what resources I use to get my sites performing well and getting good Search Engine Rankings.
This website is independently owned and operated. I might receive compensation from the companies whose products and/or services I promote if you use a link on this website to such products. That said I must make it clear that this will never result in you paying anything more for those products than if you go directly to their website. (FTC Disclosure).
Domain Registration
I want my domain registrations separate from my hosting provider.
That way I can easily switch providers if I want/need to as I don't need to go through the hassle of domain name move.
A standard domain move between providers involved support tickets to both the old and the new provider, getting an EPP code and waiting for DNS changes.
With a domain registered at Namecheap.com, I just set the DNS to the DNS servers of my new hosting provider (after the site move) and it runs within a couple of hours on the new hosting server.
Also, a good option if your main site is hacked and you got a backup clone set up with a different provider.
Website Hosting Provider
I use Siteground now for most of my English websites. This site is also hosted on Siteground and you have seen how fast it loads and how well it performs.
Siteground also provides malware scanning and free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates for your websites. You might have noticed the https:// use for this website.
Premium WordPress Themes
On 98% of my WordPress website, I use the Genesis Framework and a Child Theme from StudioPress.com.
Genesis is really well coded, also fast loading and very secure. There are a lot of Child themes you can choose from, designed by StudioPress and Third Parties.
I think you should be able to find a theme to your liking for almost any website topic.
All theme's come with clear instructions to setup Menus, Widgets and which plugins you need to get your site looking as good as the demo sites.
I opted to get all themes via the Pro Plus All-Theme package, which might seem expensive, but with just a few sites you already get your investment back. You can even use the themes to build sites for friends, family, and even clients…
